The trap of entropy and the willingness to overcome it.
The path may twist and turn but essentially you will find yourself at a place of inner balance if you continue on. When entropy hits, it can be like coming up against a brick wall where you struggle and struggle to climb over but your legs simply cannot carry you over this brick wall. Negativity sets in and emotions begin to stir. The tongue may be bitten but the feeling still remains within.
What is it within that keeps us stalled on certain stages on the path. Often it is not necessarily ego but it can be vile hatred and lust for destruction of others whom seem to the mind to be a perceived threat to the individual. These internal complexes halt the seeker from progressing further along the path and can eventually lead to their falling if they choose to make a wrong move. This is a natural law of the heavens.
While fallen along the path the powers no longer protect you nor do you have the guidance from the heavens that you had access to previously. Entropy, is like gravity, a drawing down or weighing down of ones mind and body where there are limited efforts to get back on the horse, repent and return to the path of learning.
From a personal experience entropy has set in for months on end where I have not had the energy to be aware in the present moment or to practice the death to the ego when needed. This weight can hold heavily upon people. Sometimes it can be a specific defect holding someone back such as laziness to continue on or just plain and simple tiredness especially if you have been pushing the mind hard to experience more and to be more disciplined in its thinking.
The phenomena of entropy occurs often as a person on the path is like a steam train where fuel is constantly needed to be burned. Without wood the steam train comes to a complete halt and no further progress can be made. The fuel is a persons energy to engage with the consciousness and to exercise it in moments or extended moments of clarity. To get back on the bike and to fight this entropy takes efforts to break the chains. This effort can be applied slowly and built up gradually until a person feels that they are back in the flow of consciousness. Once entropy has set in it can be like pushing up against a mountain to get what you want and finding yourself frustrated with the lack of result. The path isn’t necessarily about what you want but rather it is about discovering what makes you happy.
With repentance you can pick things up where you left off and tackle the assignment to the next stage once more. Many obstacles lay upon the path but the one major one is the entropy as it can be like a slide down a dark road to a lonely desolate place where people grab to anything or anyone to feel secure.
The entropy is not the end though it can be part of a cycle of renewal and repentance.
